Before I felt called into becoming a Certified Professional Coach who specializes in Post Traumatic Healing, I struggled with overcoming my own trauma.
Escaping the mindset of being a victim and transforming that into something that could help others seemed out of my reach.
Now, I work with those who are committed to moving forward after healing from trauma. They’ve done the work and started to arrive from the other side, but now it’s time to pick up the pieces and create something new; something powerful.
You can feel that life is different now, and to some degree it may always be. However, I’ve learned that in this process you can create something meaningful that didn’t exist before. You can be courageous. You can plant your stake in the ground and claim your space.
I REALIZED THIS NAGGING FEELING WAS NEVER TRULY GOING TO GO AWAY.
I owed this to myself, and perhaps to my loved ones who supported me through my journey towards healing.
And deep down, I truly knew that this was what I was being called to do, and that was all I needed to know to realize I couldn’t fail.
I decided to take a stand for every person who has ever felt like a victim to life, wanting them to know how powerful they are. I took a stand for those who want to shift their thinking from “what's wrong with me” to “what happened to me.”
I discovered that I'm resilient, strong, and determined and that I want them to have everything they desire and deserve.
What I know now is that trauma is anything that causes suffering at the cost of creating a joyful future, and that a joyful future is everyone’s birthright.
I coach trauma by creating a safe, non-judgmental space that is a supportive, compassionate, and caring environment for all of my clients. My focus is on the future and how to support from a place of hopeless and helpless to empowered and stronger than before.
I work with people who have healed from their initial trauma and are now ready to move forward but are not sure how. They now know that nothing is wrong with them, but, rather, that something happened to them.
They’re ready to move past rehashing the past and asking why something happened, and now feel like the next step is to jump back into life with both feet.
They’ve done the initial work of healing, and find that they’re ready to focus wholeheartedly on moving forward.
